I would like to welcome you on my website for Music interview and the interview contain eight Questions .
Question One
how did you start making electronic music ?
Ans :- Hypercube: Hypercube project was born in the Scandinavian city of Copenhagen in the early 90’s , at the time i use to live there and i was involved in various music projects; Hypercube was my solo project and the debut Album (Earobics) was released in 1996 under Hypnotic Records, a sub label of Cleopatra Record (USA) .
Question Two
What made you want to become a musician ?
Ans :- Hypercube: The primordial need for explorations with a genre-morphic project to awaken layers of the subconscious bringing to life elements of universal chaos and structurally disrupted social systems, the journeys into the realms of complexities of parallel worlds .
Question Three
Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of music ?
Ans :- Hypercube: I have an interest in shortwave radio listening since i was a young boy and 15 years ago i became a licensed Radio Amateur (2E0RPS) and built my own shack (studio) for transmission and reception from all over the world .
Question Four
what kind of music Gear you Used and Why ?
Ans :- Hypercube: Software only: Native Instruments Reaktor 6 ensembles by Twisted Tools, U&I Software MetaSynth, FM Synthesis in general for their “clinical” and at times unpredictable sound design,
AIR Music Tech Hybrid 3, AIR Loom for their flexibility, simple and intuitive interface and Xfer Serum for more in depth sound design.
Reaktor 6 blocks and modular ensembles, Absynth 5, Lazer bass, Razor additive synthesizer, Paul's Extreme Sound Stretch software for general sound design .
Question Five
Who is your favorite artist or a person you look up to in the industry ?
Ans :- Hypercube: too many to mention however bands like Kraftwerk , Sun Ra or genres within future Pop, Psychedelic music and Progressive rock in general including obscure soundtracks from less known movies of the past have been influential on the way i perceive music today .
Question Six
Do you think anyone can be a musical artist ?
Ans :- Hypercube: Yes, the tools for reaching out are available to almost anyone so it’s just a matter of applying interesting ideas methodically and a bit of perseverance .
Question Seven
What is your main inspiration ?
Ans :- Hypercube: Gardening, nature , inner voices , twisted dreams , social systems , People’s race and development , instructions manuals badly translated, close up of objects and distant realities .
Question Eight
What strengths do you have that you believe make you a great musician ?
Ans :- Hypercube: With the time i have learned that nothing makes sense at terrestrial and cosmic level and this is proving to be a liberatory phase while we live the daily unknown .
