I would like to welcome you on my website for Music interview and the interview contain eight Questions .
Question One
how did you start making electronic music ?
Ans :- I learned music since I was 6 years old . My mother was a school teacher and played piano. I learned Piano. Our family is catholic and We went to church. In church there was an organ and I liked to play the organ. I was 9 years old when I played every week on the organ. Then I start learning piano and organ until 18 years. I was technical minded and I loved electronics. I made my first electronic organ when I was 15 years old. I made the organ with own concepts and designs using spare parts from old electronic devices. I made also my first “ synthesizers “ . Later , I studied for Electronic Engineer and in 1983 I finalized my studies. I made my first computer to control Analog Synthesizers, had a bood score at school and I came on the Belgian television in 1984 with an interview and a performance . Since then , I have always loved making electronic music.

Question Two
What made you want to become a musician ?
Ans :- My love for music. I am amateur. I like to create new music and piano and synthesizers are inspiring. It gives us freedom and helps to overwin happy and difficult emotions. Music is essential in my life.
I promote my music as MICADO (Frans Lemaire aka MICADO) .
Question Three
Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of music ?
Ans :- Electronics, traveling , walking, biking, play the church organ in my home region, social and charity work to help people
Question Four
what kind of music Gear you Used and Why ?
Ans :- I moved from own made synthesizer to KORG and ROLAND equipment in 1975-1990. Then I came mad from the AKAI S Series Samplers and made a lot of music using AKAI gear.
Today I use more and more software synthesizers on iMac. You can find my setup on
On my bandcamp page, you can see the hardware and software synths I use on my recent albums In the comments, I list up the used gear. I mix real hardware and software synths. I love the pure hardware synths as the audio content and spectrum is so richt. I use software synths because the sound evolution and technical possibilities to create new sounds are super interesting and powerful. Due to price , budget and focus on making music instead of creating new systems, I grow to use more software tools .
Question Five
Who is your favorite artist or a person you look up to in the industry ?
Ans :- My TOP 5 masters are :
Vangelis , Klaus Schulze , Tomita , Tangerine Dream and Jean Michel Jarre. But most of the electronic musicians from 1970-1980 inspired me a lot .
Question Six
Do you think anyone can be a musical artist ?
Ans :- YES , if your heart loves music
Question Seven
What is your main inspiration ?
Ans :- Life situations, emotions, relations with people, nature, traveling, dreams, film , video .
Question Eight
What strengths do you have that you believe make you a great musician ?
Ans :- I am classical schooled. I have my style and like to play with digital and electronic voice tools (digitized, not real voices). I try to combine classical harmonies with rich synthesized sound manipulation. I also like to support or flavor the music lines from other musicians to create new atmospheres and concepts. I have no high ambitions, I am amateur and I am happy if I like my music and I am very happy if also other people like my music. I do not push a certain style . Its difficult for me to categorize my own music. On Bandcamp I use : New age, synthesizer, Berliner Schule , Ambient, Soundscape , experimental ... But there are today many relevant styles that fits with Computerized and synthesized music concepts.
Special Thanks To the Musician frans lemaire .
